Q: Why is Plyometrics Missing from the Lean Rotation of P90X?
A: Because the volume of cardio requires lower impact work. Yes, Plyo is great but it’s also very intensive. In our test groups we ran into a lot of cases with knee issues. It’s very important not to do Plyo too much. Because Lean has a different workout schedule, your legs take more of a pounding, so Plyo is not recommended.
Can you add it? Yes. But, be careful. No more than once a week, for sure. And switch back if your knees start to tire. Also, I would recommend not adding Plyo to each recovery week.
