Meet Brittney D.! She participated in The Beachbody Challenge and won the $500 Daily Prize for December 7th!
Tell us about your life before you started the program. How did you feel about yourself and your body?
I am a college student athlete on the track and field team. My events are the shot put and discus throw. In my event, I am supposed to be a lot more muscle than fat I would say. But, I was not pleased with my body at all. My stomach was so huge, and I saw cute outfits that I wanted to wear but could not because of my stomach and thighs. But now I can just slide those outfits right up on my body, and I am so happy for that.
What inspired you to change your life and begin your transformation journey?
I saw myself wanting these outfits and these jeans, but they did not look right on me, because I was too big. My track career also inspired me to do better for myself. I am so happy that I lost 15 pounds, and I am ready to go shopping for smaller clothes now.
What is the greatest challenge you faced before beginning the program? How did the program and Beachbody® help you overcome that challenge?
Before I started INSANITY: The Asylum, I was so afraid, because I just did not know if I could do it or even complete it for that matter. I am so glad I chose The Asylum, and I cannot wait to begin a new program really soon. I absolutely love The Asylum!!
What in particular did you like about the program you chose?
I liked the fact that the exercises were related to track, and I obviously love track. So I loved the program!!
Describe the results you achieved with your Beachbody program. Which achievements are you proud of?
I am so proud of my results and the fact that I lost 15 pounds. I am so happy and thrilled with my results. I can now wear a size 10; I used to wear a size 12. And, I am so excited and proud that I did not give up. I kept pushing!!
How has your life changed since completing your Beachbody program?
My life has changed for the absolute better. I am faster. I have more energy. I eat a lot better now. I only drink water, and I work out everyday now. I now run 3 or more miles every three days or so. I am so full of energy and motivation. Thanks Beachbody!!
