Tell us about your life before you started the program. How did you feel about yourself and your body?
If I didn’t have something quick and easy to eat in the morning, I would stop at a gas station and pick up some unhealthy food for breakfast. I could see that I was putting on the pounds, but it was just so convenient.
What inspired you to change your life and begin your transformation journey?
I was tired of pulling off my sweatshirt, and worrying about my undershirt coming up and showing the layer of fat that was covering my abs.
What is the greatest challenge you faced before beginning the program? How did the program and Beachbody help you overcome that challenge?
My biggest challenge was having enough time to fix a healthy meal each morning.
What in particular did you like about the program you chose?
I was looking for a program that would help me gain muscle mass.
Describe the results you achieved with your Beachbody program. Which achievements are you proud of?
I gained seven pounds of muscle mass.
How has your life changed since completing your Beachbody program?
I am not afraid to take off my shirt in front of other people now.
How did participating in a Challenge Group help you reach your goals? How did your group support you and keep you accountable?
I loved the Challenge Group. I knew that every morning I was going to get an email or Facebook post offering nutrition or fitness tips, along with daily motivation to stay on track and achieve my goals.
How did your Team Beachbody Coach support you on your journey?
My Team Beachbody Coach isn’t just my Coach, but my best friend. He was always available to answer any questions I had or offer any tips when needed.
How did a Beachbody supplement, nutritional product, or program (such as Shakeology or Beachbody Ultimate Reset) support your transformation? What are the greatest benefits you gained? Did you see benefits to your energy, sleep, mood/mental clarity, or digestion/regularity?
Shakeology was the best thing that could have happened to me. I used to run out the door because I didn’t have enough time to fix breakfast. I would stop at the local gas station and pick up something that wasn’t very good for my health. I no longer need to find snacks to eat before lunch as it really is satisfying. I also started the program off with the 3-Day Refresh. It was a great way to kick-start my nutrition goals.
