Tell us about your life before you started the program. How did you feel about yourself and your body?
I started INSANITY MAX:30 4 months after having my second baby.4 I was ready to start losing the weight again, and get back into cardiovascular shape as I wasn’t very active in the last trimester of my pregnancy. I was most unhappy with my stomach and the loss of muscle tone I had.
What inspired you to change your life and begin your transformation journey?
I achieved 50 lbs of weight loss and body transformation after my first baby, and wanted to get back to where I was again.
What is the greatest challenge you faced before beginning the program? How did the program and Beachbody® help you overcome that challenge?
I had lost my endurance and strength during my latest pregnancy. I could barely do one pushup on my knees ,where before I was doing them with ease on my toes, and became winded doing heavy cardio! I had been waiting to do this program for so long! It came out when we started trying for our second baby, so I had to be patient and wait for the right time to do it! At 4 months postpartum, I was ready for that challenge!4 After completing the program, I went for a run on my treadmill, I hadn’t gone for a run in over two months while doing the program, but I was able to have a much faster pace as my cardio endurance was increased during this program!
What in particular did you like about the program you chose?
Honestly everything! This was my first Shaun T program, and I absolutely loved him as a trainer! I loved the cardio in all the workouts as well as how I was able to build up my strength using just my body! I loved the competition side of things, every week I had to beat my previous max out time! No exceptions! I’m a very competitive person and I love how this program makes you compete against yourself and see your improvements!
Describe the results you achieved with your Beachbody program. Which achievements are you proud of?
I was able to lose 8.5 lbs and 8.5 inches! I already know I will be doing this program again, it gave me the results of weight loss and increasing my stamina! My goals next time are to do it all without modifying any moves! I had to modify the pushups on this go around but I’m looking forward to trying it again after hammer and chisel.
How has your life changed since completing your Beachbody program?
I am closer towards my goal of pre-pregnancy weight, and I was able to encourage others to try the program as well as they followed my transformation with it! I am stronger and happier since completing it!
