Tell us about your life before you started the program. How did you feel about yourself and your body?*
Before INSANITY, I thought I was in pretty good shape. I worked out every day, lifting weights, running, and doing a variety of other cardio-type exercises. However, I wasn’t satisfied with the way I looked in the mirror. I’m not a big/tall guy, but I wanted to at least look strong by leaning down body fat and increasing the definition of the muscles on my arms, chest, and especially my abs. My sister introduced me to INSANITY, and let me borrow one of her DVD’s to tryout.
What is the greatest challenge you faced before beginning the program? How did the program and Beachbody® help you overcome that challenge?*
I did the workout a few times, and although I feared that I might drown in a pool of my own sweat, I was hooked. I soon ordered my own set of DVDs.
What in particular did you like about the program you chose?*
I liked the “mobility” aspect. What I mean is, I was not used to moving my body in all directions and in such an extreme manner. My typical workouts before INSANITY would not put me into so many different positions or motions. My muscles were in shock for the first few weeks, especially in my legs, butt, back, and core. They were not used to moving like the INSANITY program required, but as a result, I am stronger and much more flexible in the critical areas of my body needed for a good and strong foundation.
Describe the results you achieved with your Beachbody program. Which achievements are you proud of?*
I feel proud of myself for rising to the challenge of INSANITY and for completing the program as designed. I’m excited that I am in the best shape of my life!
How has your life changed since completing your Beachbody program?*
The INSANITY program has definitely “raised the bar” and changed my perception and definition of a “workout.”
