Zina’s Life, Before
“Before doing the Beachbody Challenge I felt tired, unmotivated, angry, heavy, hopeless, and lacked confidence. It was a new year, I had just had my second baby, and a move to a new town was in the near future.
I hated the skin I was in and as much as I wanted to lose the weight, I wasn’t confident enough to step inside a gym.
I also didn’t have my nutrition under control. I was yo-yo dieting; eating healthy one day and back to eating junk the next. I needed help. Not having the proper tools and resources I needed made me even more discouraged and sent me spiraling into an emotional-eating cycle.
My family definitely inspired me to begin my transformation journey. My oldest daughter was four years old at the time and my second was a newborn.
I had started and stopped so many times on my health and fitness journey that I was just tired of quitting. I wanted my children to see me have a healthy relationship with food and taking care of my body.
I wanted to feel strong and always be able to run around and play with my children without being tired or winded.
I was also inspired by seeing so many great results from people who were just like me! Seeing moms out there getting muscles and defining their bodies really inspired me to become the best version of me.”
“I started with 21 Day Fix. I knew it would be the perfect program that I could stick with after not working out for so long.
I like that it was only 30 minutes a day, for 21 days. Something I knew would be challenging, but achievable.
I was also excited about the color-coded Portion-Control Containers to help keep my nutrition in check. It was really helpful to portion out my foods and control how much I was eating. They helped me stay focused on my nutritional goals for the day.
After completing 21 Day Fix, I lost 13 pounds and was motivated to start my next program — 80 Day Obsession.
What I liked about this program was that Autumn was always so motivating and encouraging each day. I loved the way the workouts were paced and that they incorporated bands, sliders, and weights.
80 Day Obsession made me feel so empowered and strong not only physically, but mentally, too.
LIIFT4 was my third program. I really enjoyed the 4 days on/3 days off schedule and how quick the workouts were. I loved training specific body parts each day and doing core each workout.
80 Day Obsession and LIIFT4 are my favorite fitness programs so far. They both challenged me in different ways that I love.
I also love that even if your Wi-Fi is down, you can simply download the workouts beforehand and still stream them.”

“It was so much more than just a weight-loss transformation; it was a mental transformation as well.
These programs taught me patience, drive, and to never give up on myself. Beachbody was my hope through my struggle.
I feel unstoppable! Like I can accomplish anything I put my mind to, not only with my health and fitness but in life.
My self-confidence has definitely changed. I feel more outgoing, secure with my self, and finally comfortable in my own skin.
To some, it may seem very little, but doing things like running with my children or being able to play with them means so much to me. Before, I would run out of breath or feel tired right away. Now I feel like a kid again because I can keep up!
My proudest achievement was getting through each program I started.
I gave it my all each time and I’ve finally found the balance I’ve been looking for in my health and fitness journey. My waist has shrunk so much and my mommy pudge (stomach) is almost non-existent!”
