Tell us about your life before you started the program. How did you feel about yourself and your body?
I had my second child 3 months before starting 21 Day Fix.4 I was always tired, and had no energy throughout the day. I was the heaviest I had ever been. Although I had just had a baby, I still hated the way I felt and the way my clothes fit. I didn’t feel pretty, and I knew I wasn’t as healthy as I should be.
What inspired you to change your life and begin your transformation journey?
I was ready to have more energy to play with my kids, and I wanted to be able to feel comfortable in my own body and in my clothes. I knew I needed to change my eating and exercise habits and take control. I’m the only one who can change the way I feel and look, so I did.
What is the greatest challenge you faced before beginning the program? How did the program and Beachbody® help you overcome that challenge?
I’ve always had trouble controlling how much I eat. In high school and college I never had to worry about portion sizes because my metabolism was so high. After having two kids, that changed. I was noticing that what I ate and how much I ate affected not only my body, but also my general health and attitude. 21 Day Fix helped me learn what foods to eat and how much of those foods to consume. By eating smaller portions and more meals per day I was never hungry, had more energy, and saw amazing weight loss results. It has become part of my lifestyle, and it changed the way I look at food.
Describe the results you achieved with your Beachbody program. Which achievements are you proud of?
After 3 rounds of 21 Day Fix, I lost a total of 20 pounds and 10 inches! I have more energy, and feel healthier. I am proud of the weight loss I was able to achieve with 21 Day Fix.
How has your life changed since completing your Beachbody program?
The things I learned while doing 21 Day Fix have become part of my lifestyle and my everyday life. I continue to eat smaller portions and drink Shakeology everyday. I also continue using the exercises at home when I can’t get out of the house. I use my success with the program to help other people who are looking for a way to get healthy and lose weight. I’m encouraged to share my story and let others know that their goals can be achieved as mine were.
