Tell us about your life before you started the program. How did you feel about yourself and your body?
I was a binge eater who told myself I ate healthy. In reality, I was eating way too much and all the wrong things. I had intestinal issues, and always felt slightly sick to my stomach. I also had no energy, and hated it.
What inspired you to change your life and begin your transformation journey?
I joined Beachbody as a Coach in July, and my Coach encouraged me to order 21 Day Fix.
What is the greatest challenge you faced before beginning the program? How did the program and Beachbody® help you overcome that challenge?
Nutrition was always my weak point. I didn’t like healthy foods. Being told, this is what you can eat and only this, really forced me to explore new foods. It turns out that I like a lot more foods than I thought. Don’t get me wrong, that first week was rough! But, as the fat and inches melted, I got more and more inspired to keep going because it was working. I knew that the only way this wasn’t going to work for me was if I wasn’t working for it. Now I know how to eat, and for the first time since starting my health and fitness journey, I haven’t regained a single pound. In fact, I’m still losing weight.
Describe the results you achieved with your Beachbody program. Which achievements are you proud of?
I lost 7% body fat, and I gained abs!
How has your life changed since completing your Beachbody program?
I carried over what I learned about eating. For once, I’m not returning to old habits. Because of that, I’m still losing weight.
