Tell us about your life before you started the program. How did you feel about yourself and your body?
After having my third child, I was struggling to lose the last bit of weight and had nearly no tone whatsoever. I am in my 30s, and thought maybe this is just what my body looks like now that I am no longer a 20-something. Most of my clothes were too small, and I would dread getting dressed in the morning.

What inspired you to change your life and begin your transformation journey?
My friend is a Beachbody Coach, and I knew through Facebook that she was eating clean, working out, and getting good results. I would read her posts and think: “That’s great, but I know I won’t stick with it and get results like that… I don’t have that kind of time or energy.” Then when 22 Minute Hard Corps was released, I knew I had to try it. Surely I could commit to just 22 minutes a day, right?

What is the greatest challenge you faced before beginning the program? How did the program and Beachbody help you overcome that challenge?
My greatest challenges are motivation, time, and clean eating. With three little kids at home, my workout time options are early in the morning or late at night. Through the accountability of my Coach and others in my Challenge Group, I was able to commit to getting up earlier to squeeze my workout in before my kids woke up. And with a program that is only 22 minutes in length, I had no excuse. My Coach also ran a clean eating challenge in the month of April. Focusing on my eating and drinking Shakeology in the afternoons really helped move me further than I ever have in training and see better results than I have ever seen.

What in particular did you like about the program you chose?
First and foremost, I love 22 Minute Hard Corps for its short length. As a busy mom, this is great. I am also a fan of quantitative moves vs. timed moves. That way, if I am behind on a move, I can keep count and finish all the reps.


Describe the results you achieved with your Beachbody program. Which achievements are you proud of?
When I was in college, I ran cross country and track, training at 80 miles a week. While I was in terrific cardio shape, my body never gained the tone I desired. I could never “see” my abs looking in the mirror. I am proud of doing “real” push-ups, seeing tone in my arms and stomach, and just overall feeling accomplished that I worked hard and finished strong.

How has your life changed since completing your Beachbody program?
Completing 22 Minute Hard Corps has given me the confidence and motivation to see what else in my life I can improve upon. Do I complain too much? Do I serve others enough? What in my life have I made the excuse “I don’t have time” or “I won’t stick with that commitment” and therefore missed out on making huge improvements to myself and my character. In addition, I feel confident that I can increase my endurance and strength through daily workouts and improving the eating habits of my family.

How did participating in a Challenge Group help you reach your goals? How did your group support you and keep you accountable?
My Challenge Group played a vital role in my success. With daily check-ins, goal-making, and seeing others working hard day in and day out, I was motivated to wake up the next day and press play. Day in and day out.

How did your Team Beachbody Coach support you on your journey?
My Beachbody Coach was a huge support to me. She made daily and weekly challenges that kept me motivated and helped me to have fun with the program. She would also private message me and make sure I was doing okay. I could not have done this without her.

This was my first time drinking Shakeology, and it was a really pivotal component for me in the process. I was a huge afternoon snacker. Replacing my afternoon snack with a shake kept me full and curbed my junk food cravings. It also gave me the energy I needed to tackle the remaining part of my day, all while greatly improving my digestive system.
