This banana nut mug cake made with Vanilla Shakeology is the perfect way to start your day — or end a meal!

  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 1 large ripe banana (preferably with brown spots)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology
  • ¼ tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 4 unsalted walnut halves, chopped


  1. Coat the inside of a microwave-safe mug with spray.

  2. Add banana to mug; mash with a fork. Add egg; lightly beat with fork. Add Shakeology, cinnamon, and nutmeg; stir until well incorporated.

  3. Add walnuts; mix well.

  4. Microwave on high for 2 to 3 minutes. Serve warm.
