How to do the bird-dog crunch push-up
• Assume a plank position, with your hands directly beneath—but slightly wider than—your shoulders. Squeeze your glutes and brace your core to lock your body into a straight line from your head to your heels.
• Keeping your elbows tucked against your ribs and your head down, lower your torso until your chest is within a few inches of the floor.
• Push yourself back up, and then extend your right arm forward while raising your left leg off the ground, keeping both straight.
• Pull your right elbow and left knee toward one another, and extend then them once again before returning to starting position.
