But if you’ve ever participated in the message boards in the Beachbody On Demand (BOD) Community, you’ve likely interacted with a whole other set of experts — men and women whose mission it is to not only help you maximize your results from every workout you do and meal you eat, but also to celebrate you for the transformation that results from leading a healthier, more active life.
These men and women are the members of Beachbody’s Fitness and Nutrition Results (FNR) Department.
When you have questions, we’re most often the ones who provide the answers.
But we don’t just answer questions and dole out fitness and nutrition advice. We collaborate with Super Trainers to develop new workout programs and eating plans for Beachbody On Demand.
We work closely with Beachbody’s R&D Department to integrate our nutritional products into those plans.
We help design new Beachbody LIVE classes.
We help motivate Beachbody customers to achieve their goals through contests such as the Beachbody Challenge.
And for those who want to inspire others, we collect success stories and before-and-after photos to share with the Beachbody community.

Stephanie Saunders, Executive Director, Fitness
Steph started dance at the age of three, and at the age of 16 became a personal trainer and group exercise instructor to avoid waiting tables.
After dancing through college, she spent 10 years as a professional dancer/starving artist, and eventually moved into television, managing the production of several network television shows.
Steph joined Beachbody in 2008 and has spent the last decade helping to create and produce the best (in our humble opinion) fitness programs on the planet.
She is a National Academy of Medicine certified personal trainer, as well as a certified group exercise instructor, yoga instructor, stretch technician, and Pilates mat/reformer instructor. When not collaborating with Beachbody Super Trainers, Steph can be found in ballet class or walking her three giant dogs.
Trevor Thieme, Senior Manager, Fitness and Nutrition Content
Competitive athlete, fitness and nutrition editor, certified TRX and DVRT sandbag instructor, postural respiration specialist, NSCA certified strength and conditioning specialist — Trevor’s background in health and fitness spans more than two decades.
During that time, he has worked for some of the world’s largest lifestyle brands, including Best Life and Men’s Health magazines, where he was the fitness editor. His articles and broadcasts have also appeared in (or on) Popular Science, Discover, Maxim, Golf, Vice.com, and National Public Radio.
Currently, the senior manager of fitness and nutrition content at Beachbody, Trevor helps ensure the quality and accuracy of nearly everything we publish — from blog articles to social media posts.
He’s also our go-to guy for fitness and sports performance questions. When he’s not managing content, leading workouts, or overseeing photo shoots, he can be found skiing, hiking, mountain biking, or just trying to keep up with his four-year-old daughter.
Elanit Friedman, Director, Fitness
Elanit did not grow up as an athlete, nor did she focus much of her teenage life on fitness and nutrition. It wasn’t until her early 20s that health and fitness became a passion.
She started with boxing, and quickly fell in love with the sport. Training to become a competitive boxer opened the doors to other fitness opportunities, and the more she explored them, the more she realized that she had found her calling.
Elanit decided to use her own transformation and growing fitness expertise to inspire and help others lose weight, gain muscle, and build strength and endurance through boxing, High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), and weight training.
Elanit joined Beachbody in 2007, and has helped create some of the most popular programs in our library, including CORE DE FORCE. She holds certifications in personal training, MMA conditioning, and fitness nutrition from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, is an Onnit-certified battle ropes specialist, and is a certified TRX instructor.
Cody Braun, Fitness Specialist
Amateur boxing and collegiate football helped steer Cody to what is now his primary focus: helping others achieve their physical and athletic potentials.
After graduating from college, he earned two certifications (personal trainer and performance enhancement specialist) from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and spent six years training athletes and fitness enthusiasts in Los Angeles.
He continued his education by collecting a slew of additional certifications (he literally has too many to list), as well as returning to school to obtain his exercise science degree, and working as a physical therapy assistant, helping people correct movement dysfunctions and gain back strength.
Since joining Beachbody in 2016, Cody has helped develop some of our most innovative programs, including The SHIFT SHOP. When he is not helping people transform their bodies, he can be found indulging his inner foodie at restaurants in Los Angeles or playing flag football in the city’s Top Gun league.
Denis Faye, Executive Director, Nutrition
Denis Faye has been answering your nutrition, fitness, and wellness questions at Beachbody since 2002.
He also co-created several Beachbody nutrition plans, including P90, P90X2, P90X3, Body Beast, PiYo, FOCUS T25, 21 Day Fix, 21 Day Fix EXTREME, The Master’s Hammer and Chisel, CORE DE FORCE, and SHIFT SHOP.
He holds a master’s of science in holistic nutrition and has a background in journalism. His byline has appeared in The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times Magazine, Outside, Surfer, Wired, Men’s Journal, and Men’s Health.
As Beachbody’s resident endurance lunatic, he’s a multi-discipline competitive cyclist who races road, mountain, and cyclocross. He’s most at home in 100 to 200+ mile suffer fests, especially if gravel is involved.
Denis has been a pescatarian for more than 20 years — and, yes, he uses Beachbody Performance supplements religiously when he trains.
Krista Maguire, Manager, Nutrition
Krista has been a registered dietitian since 2008 and is a certified specialist in sports dietetics (CSSD).
As a nutrition manager at Beachbody, she brings a wealth of both science-based and traditional nutrition knowledge to our Fitness and Nutrition Results (FNR) Department, where she develops eating guides, tackles tough customer questions on the Beachbody On Demand community boards, and plays a pivotal role in integrating our supplements into the broader Beachbody picture.
Krista’s diverse resume includes Capital Brands, the parent company of NutriBullet, where, among other responsibilities, she helped develop superfood supplements and co-wrote nutrition guides and recipe books.
Before that, she was the resident dietitian at COMO Shambhala, a five-star wellness retreat in Bali, Indonesia. Her responsibilities included consulting on the resort’s western nutrition-based wellness programs and offering nutrition education outreach to the local Balinese community.
Andrea N. Giancoli, MPH, RD, Nutrition and Culinary Development Manager
Andrea is a registered dietitian with a Master of Public Health, Nutrition from UCLA. Her areas of expertise include vegetarian and plant-based diets, fad diets, nutrition and disease prevention, weight management and wellness.
She is a past National Media Spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) having appeared on NBC Today Show, Access Hollywood Live!, The Doctor’s, E!, NPR and numerous other television and radio programs.
Andrea is a nutrition and health writer who has written articles for Food & Nutrition, The Chicago Tribune, Environmental Nutrition, Today’s Dietitian, Kids Eat Right, Quick & Simple, WorldLifestyle.com, Healthline.com.
She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), the California Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (CAND), and the Los Angeles District of CAND.
Adrienne Weller, Executive Director, Results
As the executive director of Results in the Fitness and Nutrition Results Department, Adrienne leads the team that finds the incredible Beachbody Success Stories you see featured on Beachbody On Demand, in our ads and infomercials, and on our blog and social media pages.
She has been at Beachbody for more than six years, during which time she has completed nearly all of our programs — many of them several times — and become a Success Story herself, inspiring and motivating others by example.
Originally from New Zealand, Adrienne grew up in a family of organic farmers stretching back three generations — an upbringing that led to her passion for healthy eating and an active lifestyle.
Also a practitioner of yoga for more than 20 years, Pilates for more than 10 years, and running for as long as she can remember, she has a deep understanding and appreciation for fitness and wellness that helps her connect with our customers and support them on their journeys to lead healthier, fitter, fuller lives.
